He will not necessarily protect us - not from anything it takes to make us like His Son. A lot of hammering and chiseling and purifying by fire will have to go into the process.

A sense of the divine presence and indwelling bears the soul towards heaven as upon the wings of eagles.

We all go through hard times in life. It’s a part of being alive and it's the reality we all have to deal with. There are times we forget our value as a person because we are so blinded with these thoughts of loneliness, emptiness and ego. Somewhere along the road we become numbed with all the frustrations and dissatisfaction. But life itself isn't always about darkness and sadness, Life is also filled with colors and that makes it beautiful. Along this path of darkness there's always light waiting to be seen by our daunted hearts. Our heart is gifted to see this light. It may be hiding behind those circumstances that we encounter; in a stranger we just met at an unexpected place; a family who has been always there but you just ignored because of your imperfect relationship with them; it might be a long time friend you have or a friend you just met. Open your heart and you will see how blessed you are to have them all in your life. Sometimes they are the light that shines your path in some dark phases of life. Don't lose hope

No matter how bad things are, you can always make things worse.

The word "Wisdom" was for the people who have high level of inferiority complex and who are battling with some hard times.

There are no smooth paths to success. You have to straighten many rugged roads and scale numerous walls for the ultimate triumph.

Life challenges are unavoidable. We only need to develop new strategies overcome every challenge. And by faith we can graciously triumph.

We have come here together so that you might know, through virtue of your own pain, your own hopelessness, your own fear, your own darkness and the lie of powerlessness, the very actual power of your own will, of the will of your soul.

See your hard times through the spectacles of your experiences. They, too, shall pass away.

It's hard at times, but it makes a kid strong in ways that most people can't understand. Teaches them that even though people are left behind, new ones will inevitable take their place; that every place has something good - and bad - to offer. It makes a kid grow up fast.

It’s true that no one ever said life would be easy, but it is also true that no one ever said you had to go through it alone.

Peace doesn’t deny difficulty, but it has an inner calm and quietness even while enduring the difficulty.

Every single thing can change for the better, no matter however hard it is. Even a family in utter poverty can become prosperous in a couple of generations.

Lord gives even more grace, so you can endure the test of time.

Great men do not experience small challenges. They face great challenge but that is what makes them great. That is what give them great story. Though they face great challenges, they gather great momentum and strength to fight such challenges with fortitude and tenacity to the satisfaction of their inner man. Let the darkness find you if it must. Throw off the quick and tempting escapes, and seek help only from those who would teach you to grow, feed your soul, embrace your heart, but would not steal away your journey.

They that know their God shall not be disappointed. They will stand the test of time.

You can’t just run away from uncomfortable situation. You have to develop new strategy to graciously handle the situation.

In the wilderness, be not afraid. Trust God to deliver you.

You ought to pray for grace to handle the uncertainties in life.

You must see challenges as virtues of opportunities for personal development. You will then have the strength to overcome the challenge.

I still have a tendency to sit back and wait out the bad things that try and take over my life.

It's a difficult truth to face that some people choose to define themselves by the pain they feel or the wrongs they've suffered. They're not going through hard times so much as making all times hard.

It takes a lot of courage to push through hard times. Never give up. Good things are coming your way.

And we realize goodness was never in the places we thought it was! It was all along in the most humble of places: bound up in the heart of a true friend.

The forefront is not the arena of winners, stay where you are, wherever you are, when its your time, you'll speed off like a psycopath.

A life without a storm would lack drama. Pounding waves of a tempestuous sea test a person’s mettle. A fearless sailor climbs the rigging and shouts out at the top of their lungs into the wind and rain whipping across their face that they will not go quietly into the good night without a fight.

Never question the clouds, they're only bringing the life-giving rain.

Sometimes you go through things that seem huge at the time, like a mysterious glowing cloud devouring your entire community. While they're happening, they feel like the only thing that matters and you can hardly imagine that there's a world out there that might have anything else going on. And then the glow cloud moves on. And you move on. And the event is behind you. And you may find, as time passes, that you remember it less and less. Or absolutely not at all, in my case.

We all go through hard times in life. It’s a part of being human and it's the reality we all have to deal with. There are times we forget how valuable we are and our purpose for the life we have been given. We must take joy every day in celebrating our blessings, so it’s something we can carry in our hearts during our life’s journey.

I was a fool, alone, preparing to do what every fool did at such times—I was going to a bar to drink myself smart.
