One of my greatest lessons of growth was to stop dwelling in the past and forgive myself and others from all the pain and hurt that was caused. When I finally let go and released, I was free with glee.

Forgiveness is a virtue of beauty. You learn to see a person no longer defined by a past but one that has re-created itself anew.

True compassion comes by living in the shoes of another, providing a perspective closer to that of God.

Growth usually starts with awareness. Something happens in your life and you realize there is something to do about it. Sometimes it is when you become exhausted of your old habits where you then observe all the dislikes in your life and you begin living more consciously. You realize that you have a choice in every matter. That your life becomes that which you focus on and that at any time you can assert your personal will power to become what you want to be and not become what the outside circumstances may attempt to mold you into.

Healing light shines upon your soul even when the clouds roll in and the sky goes gray. The beauty of your rainbow fills the space between the gray and the blue providing balance to your soul. I see the rainbow's reflection in your eyes always. May God's light maintain the vibrant color of your heart.

Look at a cloud and it may seem very still. Look at it a few minutes later and it could have transformed into a totally different shape without you even noticing. When it may seem that you are standing still, quite the contrary, you are actually transforming every second. Next time you gaze at the clouds, remember you are moving right along with them.

Recognize the light within you. That is the goodness. The unconditional love. The one that has protected you. Guided you to your highest calling. It is the stars in heaven, that remind us we are never alone. The night can never be so black, for every twinkle in the sky be that eye of the eternal blessing and for every beam off the moon tells you how soon the sun is off the horizon.

I remember the first time I fell in love. I held her hand in mine with not an interest to let go. I floated along lighter than I've ever felt. I kissed her hand as if she were my princess. There was a heart full of love and it was all for her. Every flower, every song, every cloud, every sunshine, every raindrop was a gift from heaven. For this angel had come to take my love. For the first time I felt love...

There is no such thing as bad luck, it is true only if you believe it to be. Dismiss all negative outlooks that enter your mind. Build your faith. Realize that you attract what you think, believe, and feel the most. It is not the words that create, but the feeling behind the words that has the true power.

You don't need fear to make a decision for you. Let your heart make the decision. It's because you have love in your heart, that you act on it. Don't do things so you can avoid something that you fear. Do things because you have love to give. Where is your focus? Are you heart-centered in your intentions? Focus on love and love is what you shall receive in return. Whenever you give something, always give it from your heart. If there's no heart behind the intention, don't give it at all. No one wants to receive a gift that comes with a bitter taste.

My thoughts fill the canvas in the sky with a spectrum of emotions. The landscape is painted through my vision. My heart warms the environment with love. The beauty lies in the depths of my soul. I am one with nature.

When the heart has been wounded, it forms scar tissue that acts as an armor around it, which in turn gives it courage to love again.

We are transformational beings gravitating closer to the light of oneness.

How can God allow this to happen? How can our predecessors allow this to happen? How can YOU allow this to happen? We could all blame everyone else for the problems of the past that brought us the present, but that doesn't do us any good. The past has already been written, and there's nothing you can do about it. The only thing you can do is concentrate on making it a better place today. Be the present example by following your heart and not worrying what others are doing.
