The body of Christ needs to mature until we can distinguish a true prophetic word from merely the word of a prophet. Many modern Christians are afraid to reject anything spoken by one who claims to be a prophet or prophetess.

There is often a prophetic word in the words of a prophet, but not everything said is true prophecy.
